Inspiration Board for Valerie and Blaine

I thought it would be fun to share some highlights from one of our upcoming weddings that will happen at the Four Seasons Biltmore in June. Kaitlin put this collage of details together for us. I did Valerie and Blaine's engagement party at her parents beautiful estate in Montecito last August. We are excited to share some of the fun details we are doing for the wedding. Valerie and Blaine's favorite place to visit in Florida is the classic Raleigh Hotel. We have taken some of those elements for the cocktail time and it should be amazing! I cannot wait to see the ballroom come together! The black and white cake is what inspired us with the chairs now being created for our event by Chameleon Chairs. Personalized round white dance floor with their VB Monogram piped with black stripes should be stunning... Tracy from Lazaro Designs came up with the VB design which was carried through on the invitations, too.

In spite of the Rain...Zoe and Jake had an amazing day!

I will never forget having to tell this bride 3 days before her wedding day that rain was predicted...after all it doesn't rain that often in Santa Barbara. She wept on my couch, saying this isn't at all what I dreamed! But this storm was coming in and as her planner I had to have her prepared. She had chosen Mt. Carmel Church and loved the newly refurbished courtyard at the Historical Museum here in the middle of town. We designed it around the textures of the adobe building, with candles and olive branches, dahlias and the Latin Style food stations. The colors were olive green, and burnt orange to create that Old Santa Barbara Style she loved. But when rain was predicted, I had to help her see this beautiful day unfold not how she had dreamed but with a tent....but as you can see from the photos, she was thrilled and Town and Country Rentals did an amazing job for all involved. The clear tent not only protected the guests from the rain, it was elegant with the lighting bouncing off of it. We ended up doing cocktails, and doing the dinner/dancing under one beautiful space...and never lost the beauty of what we created.. Thank you to Cynthia Miranda, with Mondial for their amazing food, Ambient Event Design did the lighting and the Florals, Linens were by Wildflower linens. Table numbers and escort cards were from Peppermint Ink. Scott Topper Productions kept them dancing and Christine Dahl created a beautiful cake, and yummy cupcakes to go with the design. The beautiful photos are care of Brian and Brady from BB photography. Thank you all for making another client of ours so Happy!

Kaitlin's clients Jenna and Greg were thrilled ~ Four Seasons Biltmore

A note we received from one of Kaitlin's clients...
Kaitlin helped her clients not only plan the wedding, she also helped them design it.

Greg and I were extremely happy with Kaitlin's services! We truly felt she went above and beyond to make sure our day ran smoothly! Kaitlin has a great eye for detail! We really appreciated how she worked within our budget!

Thank you Kaitlin for helping Greg and I relax and enjoy our special day!

Ambient Event Design added the lighting to
enhance the space.

Four Seasons Beautiful Cakes
The Dwight Kennedy Band, one of our favorite bands rocked the house! Dwight always builds the energy at every event. When you book the band, you also can have a DJ that plays when the band takes a break...the party never stops.

The Grand Del Mar in San Diego~

I had the most incredible time last month at the Grand Del Mar resort in San Diego. I was one of two planners from the Santa Barbara area invited to The Wedding Experience. Forty~five planners attended from Southern California. They really showered us with everything a bride would experience at the venue. The pictures below will show you just a few highlights of my time there. The photos were given to us by the very talented Boyd Harris who captured the experience very well and I wanted to share them with you.

The fashion show was care of M Bride.

One night they had us have a "Top Chef" style Cook Off. Here is my team...while we didn't win we had fun with the competition.

Brunch terrace ~ chairs by Chameleon Chair Company and linens from Wildflower Linens...
two companies I love working with. Isari Flower Studio did the flowers.

One of the ceremony locations all decorated at night! It was magical....
Isari Flower Studio did the florals ~ lighting by PSAV.

The doors entering The Capella, the chapel on the Resort.

The reflection lawn, another location for ceremonies on the property.

Dinner for us in one of the ballrooms, which includes two fireplaces. Florals were absolutely stunning by Kathy Wright and Co.

Another view of the Chapel

Personalized silk wrapped menus, and place cards~

The Epicurean Umbrella set the most amazing candy bar I have ever seen~ The bars and furniture were provided by Rrivre Works.
