Blaine was always part of my professional team as we did many weddings together on beautiful estates here in Santa Barbara. It is always an honor when another professional asks you to coordinate their wedding for them. I have had this pleasure many times throughout the years. But this one was extremely fun to work on. I think I used every possible rental company out there to create their look. The fabulous Four Seasons Biltmore was the perfect location to create the atmostphere and look for them. BB photography did such a great job capturing all the details.

La Fete Inspiration for our September Clients~

We are so excited about this wedding we are working on. The inspiration will be carried through the lighting, florals, music and decor. We cannot wait to serve the coconut lemon grass soup with lobster potsickers, and crispy ginger provided by Duo Catering for our first course. At the tasting it was so wonderful and unique.

Stephanie and Niall's Wedding in the Valley

Stephanie and Niall were such a wonderful couple and a true pleasure to work with. We are thrilled to show these new images from Melissa Musgrove who has never let us down with her excellent photography. Melissa has featured this wedding today on The Santa Barbara Wedding Guide if you would like to see more photos. I would like to thank Santa Ynez Valley Florist for providing the lovely burnt orange and blue thistle arrangments. I love the small touches that brought out Niall's scottish heritage, such as the cake which was made by Decadence. The bride, Stephanie made wine labels that told the guests what they would be enjoying for dinner that evening. I always enjoy the company of Urula and Philipe from Catering Connection and their staff was extremely helpful. Congratulations to Stephanie and Niall!

I am a DJ and have worked with many coordinators over the years. Kaitlin Lopez is one of the very best. Her talent and professionalism are far beyond her years. I worked with her last weekend and she managed the wedding expertly. She kept all staff on track with a detailed timeline and her wonderfully calm demeanor. The guests were thrilled with this event. Anyone planning their wedding will be in great hands with Kaitlin and La Fete.

Engagement photos of Lindsay and Brian~

Lindsay and Brian became engaged at this very spot, and chose to have their engagment pictures with Stephanie Hogue at the same location. We are working on their design for their October wedding at the Four Season's Biltmore, and wanted to share these adorable pictures of them both!

We Are Thrilled to Share...

I've just agreed to author a chapter of the Pananche coffee-table book Southern California Weddings. Each chapter will introduce a destination's most interesting hotels and venues as well as offer insight on the best in local catering, floral design, entertainment, photography, and other areas of specialty. My chapter of course will be the fabulous Santa Barbara! I am very excited to have the opportunity to share weddings we've created in this unique gorgeous destination and highlight some of the most amazing local resources which help make this happen. It's going to be an absolutely invaluable resource for brides and anyone who wants to learn about Southern California's vibrant special events scene.

Brunch Anyone?

Many of our clients love having a farewell brunch, and the Four Season's Biltmore is the perfect location to do the post nuptial affair! Here our clients chose the Monte Vista lawn and continued their black and white theme through their 3 day destination wedding weekend. The florals were all monochromatic color themed centerpieces done by Cody Floral Design.
