Santa Barbara Beach Chic

As a wedding planner, these are the kinds of clients that we live for. Carolyn and Dan were a dream to work with and their pictures say it all! They were the most adorable couple and they had SO MUCH FUN on their wedding day! Carolyn wanted her wedding day to reflect the beach feel of Santa Barbara but not to have a cheesy stereotypical "beachy flare" She chose a fabulous oceanfront location of the Four Seasons Santa Barbara, and allowed me to take control of the decor! I worked alongside with Camilla Svensson Burns who provided the fabulous floral arrangements to achieve this light and airy look in the La Pacifica Ballroom. BB Photography always does an amazing job capturing our clients and their joy really shows throughout all of his images.

West Coast Music packed the dance floor all night- and when the father of the bride couldn't find space to dance there, he made his own dance floor between the tables!!

Melinda and John's Wedding

We were blessed with the most gorgeous day in Santa Barbara this past weekend to celebrate Melinda and John's Wedding at the Four Seasons Biltmore. Jerry from SR Hogue did a fabulous job with the decor on this event. The classic neutral's and ivory's went beautifully in the La Pacifica Ballroom, which can be a tough room to work with. In order to add variety to the ballroom, we suggest using round and square tables, along with tall and short floral arrangements. This adds depth to the room, and also makes each table feel special in its own way. Once the ballroom was completely set, I got a chance to show the Bride the ballroom that she had been planning and dreaming of for months. She was completely taken back and told me "It was like a dream!!" The reception went flawlessly and I couldn't have been happier with the end result.  The bride and groom danced all night and even went into overtime with their fabulous band from West Coast Music- Now that is the sign of a great party!!

La Fete~Designing for a great cause~

This Sunday we will have the pleasure of giving back to our community.  Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics is having their annual "Health Care Heros" fundraiser in the loggia ballroom at the Four Seasons Biltmore.  We have sponsored the event by helping them with a beautiful fall themed table design with gorgeous vintage lanterns, lots of candles and floral arrangements.  The linens will be shimmer colors of Thyme, Moss, Bark and Antique Gold.  The lighting provided by Ambient Event Design and fruitwood chavari chairs have been donated by Fusion Event Rentals.  One of our past clients Dr. Jeffrey Kupperman will be honored that night.  We really wanted to make it special for him as he had done so much for this organization.

These darling shots of our clients JJ and Joe are by the talented BB Photography Brian really captured the personalities of this darling couple. We are working on the planning and design for a stunning event here in Santa Barbara happening over the 4th of July weekend in 2011.

Kaitlin's Dream Wedding~soft pink and mocha

Kaitlin decided it would be fun to put together an inspiration of both colors, dreams, style and fun! It would take place under the glow of beautiful cherry trees in full bloom all with beautiful up lighting. Her soft pink and mocha themed wedding would be full of peonies, cherry blossoms, anenomes, with lots of chocolate and yummy cocktails. Of course a great band too.

Blaine was always part of my professional team as we did many weddings together on beautiful estates here in Santa Barbara. It is always an honor when another professional asks you to coordinate their wedding for them. I have had this pleasure many times throughout the years. But this one was extremely fun to work on. I think I used every possible rental company out there to create their look. The fabulous Four Seasons Biltmore was the perfect location to create the atmostphere and look for them. BB photography did such a great job capturing all the details.
