In spite of the Rain...Zoe and Jake had an amazing day!

I will never forget having to tell this bride 3 days before her wedding day that rain was predicted...after all it doesn't rain that often in Santa Barbara. She wept on my couch, saying this isn't at all what I dreamed! But this storm was coming in and as her planner I had to have her prepared. She had chosen Mt. Carmel Church and loved the newly refurbished courtyard at the Historical Museum here in the middle of town. We designed it around the textures of the adobe building, with candles and olive branches, dahlias and the Latin Style food stations. The colors were olive green, and burnt orange to create that Old Santa Barbara Style she loved. But when rain was predicted, I had to help her see this beautiful day unfold not how she had dreamed but with a tent....but as you can see from the photos, she was thrilled and Town and Country Rentals did an amazing job for all involved. The clear tent not only protected the guests from the rain, it was elegant with the lighting bouncing off of it. We ended up doing cocktails, and doing the dinner/dancing under one beautiful space...and never lost the beauty of what we created.. Thank you to Cynthia Miranda, with Mondial for their amazing food, Ambient Event Design did the lighting and the Florals, Linens were by Wildflower linens. Table numbers and escort cards were from Peppermint Ink. Scott Topper Productions kept them dancing and Christine Dahl created a beautiful cake, and yummy cupcakes to go with the design. The beautiful photos are care of Brian and Brady from BB photography. Thank you all for making another client of ours so Happy!
