Grace Ormonde's Book Launch Party in Beverly Hills~

The event was spectacular last Thursday evening at the Four Seasons. Kaitlin and I arrived not knowing what to expect at the Debut of Grace Ormonde's brand new coffee table book called "being in love never goes out of style"

"After 1o years of documenting extra ordinary weddings and their elements in her magazine she wanted to present a collection of her personal favorites in one comprehensive volume". Grace Ormonde states in her new book.

We were not told that our beautiful wedding for Dina and John would be included in the book. Thank you again Brian and Brady of BB Photography for capturing this event for us. We were so honored and touched to see this wedding in the amazing book. Grace was so kind to sign the page for us.

Grand Del Mar~ 6 Irresistible Principles of Fun~

We had the best time at the Grand Del Mar in San Diego a few weeks ago. What an amazing location for weddings and events. The principle I will hold onto from this is "Spend time with those that make you Sparkle" I love that! We hope you enjoy some of the images taken by Boyd Harris that we put into a fun collage showing the details of our time there. Classy, Fun Engagement BBQ

We had so much fun planning and designing this engagement party for our clients...Here is what we proposed to them for inspiration of the way the event would feel. That Saturday it poured rain. But Classic Party Rentals came through and sub floored and tented for us a few days ahead. The guests can't wait for the 3 day destination wedding in September! Kaitlin and I did much of the decor, made the napkin rings, ordered in the cool aged pots, and lanterns. Cody Floral design did the flowers for us. We found our linens through 3 companies to get the perfect look. La Tavola, Wildflower linens, and BBJ.

We had so much fun putting together this area for the guests to have their pictures taken in.

SBB Gourmet Catering did a fantastic job with an amazing spread of delicious food. Including the pie station for dessert.

Our bride and groom want to do the photo area again for their wedding which will have an island theme The wedding will take place at the bride's parents home in Montecito.

Dwight Kennedy did such a great job providing the perfect background music for the event. Rentals by Classic Party Rentals. Lighting was created by Bella Vista Designs.

Santa Barbara Wedding Couture~Vintage Chic

We were given the Library in the University Club to use to design our look. Here is what the room looked like.Here is the final product...we created a warm soft romantic room.

Geoff from Ambient did a fabulous job matching our colors with the beautiful fabric draping, lighting and our name in lights!

Melissa Musgrove Photography captured the details for us! We love you Melissa!!!

This beautifully created cake with a gorgeous stenciled design was designed by Christine Dahl. We cut and served the cake later in the day for everyone to enjoy. The cake was a delicious chocolate cake with to die for chocolate mousse filling.

Dominque from Images in Ice did the 3 ice scultptured vases that were stunning and perfect for our space.

La Fond Pampered Palate served italian spritzers for all to enjoy!

Cody Floral Design did it again! Laura worked so closely with us throughout the process and I love what she created. Spring, soft tones, Oh so romantic!

Tracy from Lazaro Press~I just cannot say enough about. She and I have so much fun working together. She really out did herself again. The invitation style just branded our look so well.

Our rentals were from Town and Country Rentals, and a new Vintage Rental Company in Los Angeles called Found. The chairs, trunk and tables were the perfect touch needed to complete our look. La Tavola provided the gorgeous linens for us!

Giving Back~Hospice Santa Barbara

We are asked often if the flowers from our events can be donated somewhere? Seems a shame after the four hour reception to waste them since the flowers still look stunning. We wanted to give back to an organization that is very dear to us. I lost both of my parents to cancer. One pancreatic and the other was lung cancer. My Dad was just retiring from teaching at La Colina Jr. high, when he received the news of pancreatic cancer. Four months later we said goodbye to him. Hospice was there to walk that journey with us. They were so helpful in educating us and allowing us to understand the process of letting go. I am so happy to share that we are now offering to our clients an opportunity to bring alittle joy to those that are in counseling through Hospice. We will brighten the office space, counseling offices and have the flowers delivered to some of the homes where the patients and their families could use something to lift their spirits. Thank you to all the volunteers that give of their time in Hospice Care. You are a fantastic organization!
