Ocean Views with Copper & Mediterranean Blues~

Abbey Estate in Santa Barbara~

I had the pleasure of viewing this estate on one of the most beautiful days a few weeks ago! It was just in its final stages of finalizing the remodel and landscape. I cannot wait to do an event at this beautiful property. I am looking for a perfect couple that will let me design a wedding here. Wildflower Linens~at Special Events

Today Kaitlin and I will travel down to Los Angeles to visit with Youngsong Martin and Josh Spector from Wildflower Linens. We will have lunch and catch up on her newest designs in the Pacific Design center. Her booth at the Special Events Show, New Orleans in January that I attended was stunning! The beautiful chair details on the Chameleon Chairs are perfect for my September Bride. I am always so inspired by her amazing details, and the rosettes were just so full and gorgeous on the table caps. The green was unique and very different. I loved it...it was the best display on the convention floor. Young always does an amazing job!

Our Son Ryan and his Beautiful Bride Trish!

I so enjoyed planning this fun day for Ryan and Trish. The colors just were so beautiful at the Polo Club. We had perfect weather that day! My dear friend Melissa Musgrove captured all the details at the wedding, and Tim Halberg was so kind to assist her on the day of. Our hearts were overwhelmed thanks to the amazing talents and labor of love by many of our friends in the industry. La Tavola linens, Classic Party Rentals, Cody Floral Design, and La Fond & Pampered Palate Fine Catering at the Polo Club. Tracy Lazaro did an beautiful job on all the little special touches. Ambient Event Design, draped the ceremony structure, and added all the ambiance in our reception. Everyone really out did themselves and Kaitlin and I were able to relax and enjoy this wonderful family event.

It's All About The Details!

A few months ago we posted an inspiration board showing our plans for Gigi and Billy's beautiful wedding. We are thrilled to provide the final details of their amazing day. I think this was one of my favorites for the year. Gigi and Billy live in New York City, they were very busy professionals so we planned this event with only two visits to Santa Barbara. Amazing how much can be done with the wonderful internet. Her dreams came true as the day unfolded...I cannot thank my dear friend Melissa Musgrove for capturing the details for her that day. Joni from Hearts Bloom did such a beautiful job on the florals and details. The fabric draping and lighting by Ambient Event Design was what really made the Loggia Ballroom at the Four Season's stand out. Town and Country provided the vintage lounge furniture, black chandelier and the candle walls which were used to make the room feel more intimate. Classic Party Rentals had the perfect table top accents for our look! Tracy from Lazaro Designs did it again with her amazing gifts of pulling all the accents together.

Junebug Weddings- Features our wedding for Shira and Adam

La Pacifica- New Ballroom at Four Seasons Biltmore

We would like to thank Melissa Musgrove for providing us with these amazing images of Ashley and Andrew's Wedding. The very talented Mindy Rice used an abundance of florals to create a spectacular ceremony structure. While Ambient draped the flowing fabric over the ceremony terrace. Ashley's theme colors were green and blue, and we were able to bring those colors into the ballroom and terrace through the beautiful aisle runner, chair cushions and linens. It literally brought the ocean into the ballroom. We came up with a fun area for their wedding party and closest friends by doing lounge type seating with magnolia trees as the focal points throughout the room, each dripping with candles! The seating, blue suede benches with huge throw pillows for the guests to lounge and dine, was provided by Classic Party Rentals. Lazaro Designs created a theme of the double "A" which was incorporated throughout the invites, menus, dance floor and even the ice sculpture which was provided by Images in Ice. It was a very memorable day for all.

Stunning Wedding at the Hahn Estate

This gorgeous wedding took place in the heart of Montecito at a private estate. We would like to thank BB Photography for providing us with these beautiful photos. The Velvet Garden created amazingly abundent florals. The trees were decorated by Bella Vista Designs with twinkle lights and uplighting to make the garden feel magical. Montecito Confections created the three tiered elegant cake.

Rainy skies lifted for Barbara and Azad

I had the pleasure of working on the most amazing wedding for Barbara and Azad. Although the morning was a bit soggy- due to rain, the skies parted about an hour before the ceremony began. The couple chose a double ceremony to show two cultures coming together as one. First, a Persian ceremony was lead by Azad's Grandmother, followed by a Catholic ceremony directed by Rev. Jerry Bellamy. As you can already see the weather did not get in the way of their adorable personalities. Harvard Photography was able to capture every detail along with the romantic chemistry between the two. Including the hysterical photo of "Indiana Jones" on an quest to remove his brides garter! The florist- Grass Roots added a punch of color with the gorgeous orange arrangements they created. I would like to thank Bia at SBB Gourmet Catering, the food and service they provided was wonderful. Christine Dahl never lets me down, she designs beautiful cakes that always taste just as good as they look. And last but certainly not least, I know I could not have done this event without the help of Nicole and her amazing team at Classic Party Rentals. I think they brought every umbrella they had in stock!!

Ai and Matt's Beautiful Rehearsal Dinner

This beautiful estate was the perfect background for the rehearsal dinner for Matt and Ai. It was held at his parents amazing Adobe which was lost in the recent fires. Stephanie Hogue shot these beautiful images. The wedding was held the next day at the Four Seasons Biltmore. Cody Floral Desgin did the pretty florals and Classic Party Rentals provided the linens and rentals. Cook Better Live Better was the caterer. Luna Gitana provided the entertainment.

Engagement Photos in New York City

We posted earlier about Gigi and Billy's wedding which will be happening this weekend at the Four Season's Biltmore. Melissa Musgrove will be photographing this amazing wedding we have been working on since March of this year. Gigi and Billy flew Melissa back to New York to do their engagement shots, since that is the city they live in, and where they fell in love! We cannot wait to post all the details for you soon.
